How to use
To enter and calculate a cash flow series:
1. Enter the discount rate.
2. Enter the initial amount and press the Insert button.
3. Insert additional amounts.
4. Press the Calculate button.
For example, if you loan someone $20,000 and receive four payments of $5,000 and one payment for $4,000, enter the following:
Discount Rate = 5
Amount = -20,000
Number of Times = 1
Insert
Amount = 5,000
Number of Times = 4
Insert
Amount = 4,000
Number of Times = 1
Insert
When you press the Calculate button, IRR is 6.59%, NPV is 863.86, NFV is 1,102.53, and the Total is 4,000.
To replace an entry in the cash flow series:
1. Double-click the entry in the table.
2. Modify the amount and/or the number of times.
3. Press the Replace button.
To delete an entry in the cash flow series:
1. Click the entry in the table.
2. Press the Delete button.
